Today, let's dive into a few cool campaigns by Asphalte, an eco-friendly fashion brand from Bordeaux. Their online store never has sales but still hooks in visitors, scoring 4,000+ leads monthly.
Asphalte: no discounts, no problem
When you visit Asphalte, chances you'll see one of the most unique popup campaigns ever.
This one offers 50% off nothing...
This one basically says the same...
And—
This one also isn't really into discounts and the usual offers we typically come across...
But—
All of these campaigns have two important things in common:
First—
They are awesome conversation starters (not to mention pretty unique). Right away, we get an idea that the brand proposes to co-create the next product collection. That's pretty cool.
And second—
These campaigns are essential for Asphalte, as it needs feedback from as many visitors as possible. Thanks to them, more potential customers complete the product survey:
Thanks to the valuable feedback, the brand can pick the designs for manufacturing instead of overproducing.
According to Ben Mateo, the chief revenue officer at Asphalte, he learned that the customer lifetime value was higher when a customer learned about how Asphalte works (so there's again a good piece of evidence that customers prefer to buy from conscious brands), so he wanted to introduce the customer survey to more people.
For that purpose, the popups are perfect. Ben realized that many people don't like them, so he made them as fun as possible.
Now, the popups drive thousands of visitors to the survey, also helping Asphalte generate around 4,000+ leads every month in the process.
Indeed, what a cool way to introduce your brand and generate leads!
